DeviProp provides a structured framework to build quotes and offers

DeviProp is designed to encourage users to follow a logical approach:

• The four contexts Costs - Links - Prices - Excel outline the main stages of developing the Cost Estimate and deriving the Offer
• The Costs and Prices contexts contain columns that can be configured to specific company requirements and need to be populated to build the Offer
• Scheduling is specific to each context
• Consistency between the Costs and Prices contexts is maintained via the links defined in the Links context
• The Excel context enables the user to customise the input of data

Managing Roles

Defined Roles and Access Rights

Each user has a defined role with an associated (and configurable) profile that determines their access rights to the various functions and features of DeviProp.

This leads to a clear identification of responsibilities in the management of data within the DeviProp application.

Each actor responsible for its participation

DeviProp provides a collaborative capability enabling Work Package Managers to delegate data entry for parts of the quote to the appropriate manager.

Validation and verification by the senior Work Package Manager of submitted WPs ensures a balance between scope, cost and time for the whole project.

Financial reference data

The organisation's financial reference data is managed centrally and updated in DeviProp by an administrator as directed by the Finance Department. When the DeviProp user connects to the server or Oracle database (if deployed), updated data is downloaded, ensuring that all standard internal rates and financial parameters are consistently used throughout the organisation in calculating costs.

Reference reports

To ensure a common approach to project analysis, a selection of standard summary reports is provided, including standard multi-dimensional analysis cubes and pivot tables.
